Noor Haj-Tamim is the Founder and CEO of Avionova, where she leads commercialization strategy and R&D. A commercial astronaut candidate and bioastronautics researcher with IIAS, she has also lectured at the Oxford Academy of Excellence in Aerospace Physiology and Early Technology Concepts. Noor previously served as a NASA FedTech Technology Commercialization Fellow and Executive Director of JSSOAR, and brings expertise in grant writing, IP development, and dual-use product strategy.

With decades of leadership across engineering, product development, and talent growth—including senior roles at CoverMyMeds and advisory roles at Techstars and Ohio State’s and Case Western Reserve’s Tech Transfer Offices—Alan Gilbert serves as Avionova’s Commercialization & Strategy Partner, helping the company scale operations, sharpen product focus, and build strong teams for mission success.

Dr. Desi Schoo, MD, is a neurotologist and physician-scientist at Ohio State University, specializing in cranial base surgery, vestibular implant research, and the diagnosis and treatment of balance disorders. He leads multidisciplinary efforts to advance care for patients with inner ear dysfunction, especially in restoring balance after acoustic neuroma treatment.
